Noodle Arena
Slither around a round arena with fourteen hungry rival noodles. Grow the longest, and do not bump your head.
How to play Noodle Arena
You are the blue noodle in the middle of the screen. Steer around the arena eating the coloured dots to grow longer. The rule that matters most: if your head touches another noodle's body, you are knocked out. The same goes for them, so a well-placed body is your best weapon.
When a noodle is knocked out, it bursts into a trail of big dots. Get there first for a quick growth spurt. Watch the red fence around the arena too: touching it knocks you out.
Controls
| Action | Phone or tablet | Computer |
|---|---|---|
| Steer | Touch and drag toward where you want to go | Move the mouse, or ← → |
| Boost | Hold the Boost button | Hold the mouse button, or Space |
Boosting makes you much faster but costs length: you drop a dot behind you every moment you boost. You need a length of at least 12 to boost.
The screen
- Top noodles in the top right lists the five longest noodles in the arena right now.
- The minimap in the bottom left shows the whole arena. Your dot is blue.
- Length, rank and knockouts above the game show how your run is going.
Tips
- Early on, stay away from the big noodles and just eat. Length makes you wider and gives you more body to trap others with.
- Cut in front of smaller noodles with a short boost, so their head runs into your side.
- Circle around a smaller noodle to trap it, then tighten the loop.
- Avoid boosting near the fence. You turn more slowly while boosting.
- Some rival noodles are aggressive and will try to cut in front of you. If one lines up beside you, turn away early.
Questions
Are the other noodles real players?
No. Noodle Arena is a single-player game. The rival noodles are computer-controlled, so you can play any time without waiting for a server or worrying about chat.
What counts as my score?
