Daily Nonogram

Shade the cells so every row and column matches its numbers. Today's grid is the same for every player.

How to play today's Nonogram

Each number is the length of a run of filled cells in that row or column, in order. A clue of 3 1 means a block of three filled cells, at least one gap, then a single filled cell. Use logic to work out which cells must be filled and which must stay empty.

  • Fill a cell with a tap or click. Drag across a row or column to fill several at once.
  • Cross cells you know are empty with a right-click, or switch to Cross mode on a phone. Crosses are your notes; they do not count toward the answer.
  • A clue turns green and gets struck through when its row or column matches.
  • The puzzle is solved the moment every clue matches. Your time and streak are saved automatically.

Stuck on your first grid? Start with the biggest clues. In a 10-wide row, a block of 7 must cover the middle four cells wherever it sits. Our step-by-step guide shows this and four more techniques.

Questions

When does the next daily puzzle unlock?

At midnight in your own time zone. Puzzle numbers count up from #1 on 22 October 2026.

Does every puzzle have one solution?

Yes. Before a grid is published, our solver works through it using only row-and-column logic. Grids that would need a guess are rejected, so you never have to gamble.

What are Nonograms also called?

You may know them as Picross, Griddlers, Hanjie, Paint by Numbers or Pic-a-Pix. The rules are the same.
